Crossfit Brookvale SPS is a leading Crossfit Affiliate based on the Northern Beaches of Sydney and has a strong membership base. As a specialist Crossfit Gym they run classes 7 days a week and are actively involved in the promotion of Crossfit in the community.

As the gym has grown they are looking for a Gymnastics Coach to join the coaching staff and help push the gym forward from a functional gymnastics perspective.

Responsibilities & Tasks Include

• coaching, training and instructing gym members in gymnastics and crossfit gymnastic movements
• planning and developing gymnastic programs and classes to target crossfit movements
• working in group and one on one environments
• assisting the coaching team in developing gymnastic programs for the calendar year
• advising clients on movements, scaling, and functional backgrounds of gymnastic movements
• health and safety of gym members
• maintaining and servicing gym equipment
• liaising with other coaches and staff on programming
• promoting the SPS Crossfit brand in the local community

To be considered for the role you must:

• currently hold a Crossfit Level1 Cert as a minimum (preferably Cert 2 or Higher)
• a current First Aid Certificate
• at least 2 + years of gymnastics experience in a coaching capacity
• strong communication and organisational skills
